Your first visit to Richard D. Mogle D.D.S. establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. You can even save some time at your first visit by printing out and completing the patient forms in advance of your appointment.

We feel it our responsibility:

  • To render a complete and thorough examination and diagnosis
  • To explain our diagnosis in detail so that you are fully aware of the condition of your mouth, any treatment that is needed, alternate methods of treatment and the consequences if left untreated
  • To respect your appointment time and to make every effort to start treatment on schedule
  • To complete the necessary treatment in as few visits as possible by using well planned appointments.
  • To treat all patients gently and thouroughly during thier course of treatment.
     


Patient Forms
If you are new to our practice on your first visit we will need you to fill out information and health history forms.    Please come a few mintues before your appointment time inorder to help us get you all set up as a patient in our office.  These forms may be mailed to you before your first visit. 

It is important that you lisit your medical conditions and all the medication you currently are taking.  If you are taking several medications a pre-printed list is very helpfull.

What To Expect
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself by reviewing the content on this Web site. Also, take some time to review our staff page and familiarize yourself with the doctor. We look forward to your first visit.

Please remember that when we make an appointment for you, that time is reserved just for you. If you must change your appointment time, please let us know at least 24 hours is advance. If this is your first visit to our office, please try to be a little early so we will have time to gather your information and prepare your patient record.

We try very hard to see you at your appointed time and usually are successful in our efforts. We do respect your time and ask your understanding in the event of any delay. We also appreciate it when our patients are on time for their appintment so that we can be on time for our next patient.

On your first visit, we will conduct a complete and through examination that will evaluate the condition of your face, lips, oral soft tissues, gums and teeth. We will take any x-rays and records that will be neccessary to completely and throughly diagnose your oral condition. We will then explain the condition of your mouth, any treatment we recommend, and any alternate treatment that may be avalible so that you can decide what is best for you.

It is our policy to always inform you of the fee for your dental care, an estimate of your insurance benefit and help you plan a financial arrangement that will allow you to obtain optimum oral health.

A course of treatment will be outlined, we will estimate the number of visits it will take and we are on our way to helping you achieve and maintain a healthy and beautiful mouth!

 


Directions and Parking

We are located one block from Bryan High School in the Creekside Professional Building. Our parking lot should have a space for you. Our building is home to several offices. Our office is clearly marked by our name on the door.
